Non-Toxic House Cleaning in Dallas, TX
Fragrance-free, plant-derived cleaning that's genuinely safe for the people and pets who live there
A spotless home shouldn't come with a lungful of chemical fumes. We clean with fragrance-free, non-toxic products that are safe for kids, pets, and anyone sensitive to harsh chemicals — and we've done it this way since 2004.
Healthy homes, families and souls. We green clean without toxic chemicals.
What "Non-Toxic" Actually Means at Gmaids
"Non-toxic" and "green" get thrown around loosely — so here's what they mean when we say them. We clean with plant-derived, mineral-based, and fragrance-free products, and we deliberately avoid the harsh chemistry most conventional services rely on: no chlorine bleach, no ammonia, no quats, no synthetic fragrance hiding phthalates. The result is a home that's genuinely clean, not just masked with scent.
This matters most for the people who can't just "air out the house" afterward — babies crawling on freshly mopped floors, pets grooming their paws, and anyone with asthma, allergies, or chemical sensitivities. If a healthy home is the reason you're looking for a cleaning service in the first place, you're exactly who we built Gmaids for.
Built by a Family, for Your Family
Gmaids didn't start in a corporate boardroom — it started with two people who believed cleaning services in Dallas needed to be more trustworthy, more consistent, and more human.
Watch our story to hear how we've grown into one of the most trusted cleaning services in Dallas.
— Juan Chaparro & Karen La Spina, Founders of Gmaids (since 2004)
Why Dallas Families Choose a Non-Toxic Clean
The reasons people seek us out — and stay with us for years.
Plant-Derived & Fragrance-Free
We say "fragrance-free," not "unscented" — because "fragrance" is a label loophole that can hide phthalates. No synthetic scent, ever.No Harsh Chemicals
No chlorine bleach, ammonia, quats, or the ingredients on the EWG's Hall of Shame list of toxic household cleaners.Doing This Since 2004
We're Dallas's original green cleaning service — two decades of non-toxic cleaning, not a trend we joined last year. How to Book a Cleaning Service in Dallas

Our Cleaning Awesomeness® methodology follows a proprietary 12-step Cleaning Cycle™ — refined by co-founder Karen La Spina since 2004 — that's why our homes stay cleaner longer. Every visit follows the same 12 steps across three phases: Prep, Purify, Impress.
Setting Up for Success
Steps 1–4 — how we prepare your home before touching a single surface.
The Deep Work
Steps 5–10 — top-to-bottom cleaning so dust never resettles.
The Final Touch
Steps 11–12 — quality assurance built into every visit.
A proprietary methodology developed by Karen La Spina, our co-founder — and used to train every Gmaids cleaning team.
The People Who Actually Clean Your Home
Behind every 5-star review is a real person on our team — a full-time W-2 employee, not a rotating subcontractor. We hire carefully, train thoroughly in our green methods, and pay living wages, which is why our lead cleaners stay with us for years and get to know your home the way a friend would.

The Gmaids Pledge: We Treat Our Team the Way You'd Want
Most cleaning companies pay minimum wage, offer no benefits, and rotate untrained subcontractors through your home. We do the opposite — because well-paid, respected, long-tenured employees deliver better, safer cleaning. This is our pledge.
The Old Way — Typical Cleaners
Minimum wage, no benefits
High turnover, rotating crews
Untrained 1099 subcontractors
Untraceable, no accountability
The Gmaids Way
Living wages of $18–$25/hr + benefits (health reimbursement, paid vacation)
Low turnover — team members stay ~3 years on average
Full-time W-2 employees with paid green-cleaning training
Background-checked, insured, and properly documented and authorized to work in the U.S.
Why It's Worth It — for You
Most cleaning companies pay minimum wage, offer no benefits, and rotate untrained subcontractors through your home. We do the opposite — because well-paid, respected, long-tenured employees deliver better, safer cleaning. This is our pledge.
The same trusted team, visit after visit. Low turnover means the people who know your home keep coming back — not a rotating cast of strangers.
Safer, more careful cleaning. Trained, long-tenured W-2 employees take real ownership of quality — and of the non-toxic methods that protect your family.
Accountability you can trust. Background-checked, insured, properly documented employees in your home — not anonymous subcontractors.
You're supporting a company that does it right. Living wages and benefits mean you're never getting a clean home at someone else's expense.
